Description

The Finance Systems & Reporting Manager is the primary owner of the company's OneStream platform and JD Edwards ERP financial modules, ensuring seamless integration, high-quality financial data, and efficient finance processes. This role leads data governance for all finance-related master data, drives reporting and automation, supports finance operations (close, planning, consolidation), and partners across Finance, IT, and business functions to deliver accurate and timely insights.

  • OneStream Administration & Enhancement

    • Serve as the OneStream system owner: manage workflows, cubes, dimensions, metadata, hierarchies, formulas, rules, and integrations.
    • Maintain and enhance OneStream Consolidation, Planning, and Reporting solutions-including FX translation, intercompany eliminations, allocations, and cash flow.
    • Own application security: user roles, access reviews, and SOX compliance.
    • Lead OneStream upgrades, patches, testing cycles, and production deployments.
    • Own all aspects of integration, including Script/Variable maintenance, job scheduling, data reconciliation, metadata/hierarchy maintenance, year-end rollover activities, etc.
    • Support hierarchy & metadata processing using EPMWare and SQL processes.
    • Partner with FP&A and Controllership to add new templates, dashboards, dashboards, Quick Views, Guided Reporting, and scenario model enhancements.
    • Improve system performance, monitor processes, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate with OneStream support or implementation partners.


  • JD Edwards (JDE) Financial Systems Ownership

    • Serve as the functional owner for JDE Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job/Project Costing).
    • Manage Chart of Accounts, business units, object accounts, category codes, and crosswalk mappings between JDE and OneStream.
    • Oversee all finance master data changes, ensuring controls, documentation, and compliance.
    • Partner with IT to maintain interfaces between JDE and OneStream, ensuring data completeness and integrity.
    • Drive automation of journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, and reporting extractions from JDE.


  • Enterprise Reporting & Analytics

    • Develop, maintain, and govern OneStream reports, dashboards, cube views, and standardized management reporting packages.
    • Ensure consistent KPI definitions across all reporting layers (Finance, Operations, Executive).
    • Design and maintain data transformation and reporting logic between JDE, OneStream, and any BI tools (Power BI preferred).
    • Increase self-service analytics through governed data sets and training for end users.
    • Support ad hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and variance analysis.


  • Finance Data Governance

    • Own and enforce governance for all Finance master data across JDE and OneStream:

      • Chart of Accounts
      • Legal entities
      • Cost centers/business units
      • Product/customer hierarchies
      • Project/Job codes
      • Scenarios, versions, time periods


    • Maintain documentation, approval workflows, and policies for data changes.
    • Monitor data quality and resolve exceptions (completeness, reconciliations, mapping errors, data lineage).
    • Partner with IT and the Data Office to align data strategy, MDM processes, and audit requirements.


  • Finance Operations & Process Excellence

    • Coordinate and optimize key financial cycles:

      • monthly close
      • consolidation
      • management reporting
      • forecasting and budgeting


    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process maps for reporting and system workflows.
    • Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements related to system access, data changes, and financial reporting.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, cycle time reduction, and data reliability.
    • Lead training, change management, and communication across Finance.


  • Stakeholder Leadership & Vendor Management

    • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, data teams, and OneStream/JDE vendor partners.
    • Manage prioritization of enhancement requests and backlog planning.
    • Coordinate release testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and cross-functional workshops.
    • Mentor and supervise finance systems analysts or power users.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field, and 5-10+ years of finance systems experience, including hands-on administration of OneStream or similar EPM/CPM tools.



  • Other Required Experience

    • Strong JD Edwards Financials experience-GL, AP, AR, FA, job costing, reporting, and master data.
    • Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes: close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, management reporting.
    • Experience with metadata management, hierarchies, master data governance, and financial controls.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Power BI, Excel, and SQL (basic-to-intermediate).
    • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.


  • Preferred Experience

    • Experience with OneStream advanced modules (Task Manager, Dashboarding, Predictive Analytics, People Planning, CapEx, Account Reconciliations).
    • Knowledge of JDE Orchestrator or Oracle EPM Cloud, report writing tools (e.g., ReportsNow/BI Publisher).
    • SOX experience and understanding of system controls and audit workflows.
    • Experience with data platforms (Azure, Snowflake) is a plus.
    • CPA, CMA, or MBA is beneficial but not required.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $165,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
