About This Opportunity

JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst I
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt



Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Onsite 3+ days a week with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days a week


Position Overview:

In this highly visible role, the Financial Analyst will contribute to the success of the organization by supporting the maintenance of financial reporting, providing functional support to several key business partners, and driving the consolidated forecasting and AOP process for the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

Consolidated Company Performance

  • Support preparation and delivery of Monthly Business Review (MBR) materials including data preparation, financial insights, and executive level content

  • Manage consolidated reporting timelines and coordinate cross functional inputs to ensure accurate and timely delivery

  • Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and communicate insights and recommended actions to leadership

  • Develop and enhance analytical tools and processes to improve variance analysis and proactively identify risks and opportunities

  • Own recurring weekly and monthly reporting deliverables

  • Identify opportunities to automate and simplify reporting processes and manual workflows

  • Support monthly financial consolidation and reporting processes

Forecasting & AOP Processes

  • Build and maintain financial models supporting forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis

  • Develop and manage standardized templates used for forecast and AOP submissions across the organization

  • Support the monthly forecasting process within BOARD (financial system software)

  • Partner cross functionally to enhance forecasting accuracy through improved processes, documentation, and collaboration

  • Consolidate company wide forecast and AOP financial packages for leadership review

Functional Support for Assigned Business Areas

  • Provide financial partnership to functional areas through spend analysis, variance insights, performance tracking, and clear financial narratives explaining key performance drivers

  • Collaborate with functional leaders to define and monitor key financial and operational KPIs

  • Conduct ROI and investment analysis on strategic initiatives and large spend projects

  • Lead data analysis to support decision making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency

  • Serve as proxy for the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related quantitative/technical discipline

  2. Ability to present fact-based recommendations across various levels of management

  3. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; with proficiency working in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree such as an MBA or related quantitative/technical discipline

  2. Job-related experience in the dairy industry

  3. Prior experience with BOARD or other ERP reporting software

  4. 2+ years of previous financial analyst experience

Physical Setting:

  • Onsite 3+ days a week with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days a week

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
