As a Process Technician, you will support production operations with a specialized focus on electrical systems, module programming, and electronic subassemblies. This role blends core Process Technician responsibilities with handson work in electrical diagnostics, module configuration, and harness verification to ensure our machines receive fully functional, highquality electronic components. We will train and support the right candidate - technical curiosity, initiative, and the ability to learn new electrical concepts are key. By integrating process knowledge with emerging electrical and electronic systems work, this role is central to ensuring our machines are built correctly the first time. Early detection of wiring errors, accurate module programming, and consistent support to production directly impact safety, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

Core Process Technician Responsibilities

  • Provide daytoday coaching, guidance, and firstlevel escalation support for production team members on electrical assembly or functioning issues.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure lines run effectively and problems are addressed quickly.
  • Create, update, and maintain process documentation.
  • Implement process improvements to increase safety, quality, throughput, and cost effectiveness.
  • Perform routine testing on raw materials, inprocess items, and completed goods according to standards.
  • Assist in line layout changes, rework, and periodic quality inspection.
  • Support various production areas as needed to provide relief for absences.
  • Use technical instructions, math skills, and problemsolving to support daily production flow.

Electrical / Electronic Systems Focus

  • Receive, program, configure, and validate electronic control modules used on Terex products.
  • Follow programming, testing, and diagnostic instructions to load software and verify functionality.
  • Provide programmed modules to the production line and respond quickly to modulerelated issues.
  • Assemble and mount electrical controllers, panels, and components using hand tools.
  • Perform basic cable harness debugging:
    • Inspect for wiring errors
    • Verify pinouts and continuity
    • Support corrective actions before machine installation
  • Safely operate voltmeters, test benches, and power supplies.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting on machines, harnesses, and componentlevel issues.
  • Help identify and resolve electrical quality issues through collaboration with engineering and production.

What you'll bring

  • Moderate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications and interfaces.
  • Strong interest in learning electrical systems, electronics, and machinecontrol technology.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to assemble and mount electrical components.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow precise programming, testing, and documentation steps.
  • Understanding of basic electrical safety principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics to support harness debugging.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage workload in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication skills; able to document, escalate, and collaborate crossfunctionally.
  • Willingness to learn CAN bus, Ethernetbased systems, and electronic diagnostics over time.
  • Experience working with electronic or electrical subassemblies preferred.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of communication protocols such as CAN bus or Ethernet preferred.
  • Prior exposure to ECU/PLC programming, configuration, or diagnostic tools preferred.
  • Ability to build simple benchtest setups for harness and component troubleshooting preferred.

The compensation range for this position is $25.00-$35.50 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
