Job Description Rite-Hite is seeking an experienced Line Cookto join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in preparing a variety of cuisines, thrives in a fast-paced banquet or cafe environment, and can work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires restaurant experience, a passion for food preparation, and solid customer service skills. Position Summary The Line Cook prepares high-quality food in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner. This role supports daily kitchen operations, maintains organization and food safety standards, and contributes to a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef direction * Set up, stock, and maintain kitchen stations (FIFO system) * Clean, cut, portion, and cook ingredients using various methods (grill, bake, fry, steam, etc.) * Ensure food is completed accurately and on time * Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and work areas * Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards * Follow instructions from chefs, supervisors, management * Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications * 3+ years of line cook or similar experience * High school diploma or equivalent qualifications preferred * Knowledge of cooking techniques and best practices Skills & Attributes * Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong worth ethic * Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented Physical Requirements * Stand and walk for extended periods (8+hours) * Lift up to 50lbs regularly * Perform repetitive motions (cutting, chopping, lifting, reaching) What We Offer At Rite-Hite, we take care of our people - because when you're supported, you can do your best work.
