Overview

The Total Rewards & Employee Engagement Coordinator plays a key support role across Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Engagement & Inclusion initiatives. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Affinity Groups, and regional Diversity Councils to help deliver programs that enhance the employee experience and foster an inclusive, engaged workplace. The role supports the execution of Total Rewards and Employee Engagement & Inclusion strategies through data analysis, benchmarking, program coordination, communications, and project management. The Coordinator also researches best practices, prepares presentations, and manages operational tasks that enable employees to perform at their best. Note: (For NJ candidates) This role will be located at our future headquarters in Short Hills, N.J. Until the new headquarters is operational, the successful candidate will be offered the ability to work in our Branchville, N.J. location during this interim period.


Responsibilities

  • Employee Engagement Survey Administration & Insights: Research and support the implementation of initiatives that promote a highly engaged workforce aligned with organizational values, culture, and inclusion strategy. Support the administration of employee engagement surveys, including data validation, analysis of results, and identification of key trends and insights. Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials that highlight key themes and trends for HR leaders and business stakeholders. Assist with tracking of action plans, communications, and follow-up reporting to help monitor progress and outcomes.
  • ERG, Affinity Groups, and Diversity Council Partnership: Provide administrative, coordination, and logistical support to ERGs, Affinity Groups, VIBES, and regional Diversity Councils. Share tools, best practices, and resources, and provide guidance to support successful, aligned initiatives.
  • Total Rewards Data, Reporting, & Benchmarking: Analyze Total Rewards data and assist with external benchmarking activities. Support the evaluation of compensation and benefits competitiveness by researching market trends, preparing analyses, and developing insights and recommendations for HR and business leaders.
  • Program & Project Management: Assist with planning and tracking timelines for Employee Engagement and Inclusion programs. Communicate deadlines to stakeholders, monitor project progress, and assist with budget tracking and resource utilization. Coordinate program surveys and assist with post-program effectiveness reviews and debriefs.
  • Communications & Collaboration Technology Support: Leverage digital tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, AI-enabled tools, collaboration, and transcription technology) to support communications, knowledge sharing, and consistent and inclusive messaging across audiences.
  • Change Management & Inclusion Advocacy: Champion inclusion-focused initiatives and support change management efforts in partnership with HR and business stakeholders. Assist in assessing organizational readiness, adoption, and response to new programs or initiatives.
  • Research, Trends, & Continuous Improvement: Conduct research on emerging trends, best practices, and competitive landscape related to Total Rewards, Employee Engagement, and Inclusion. Compile findings, assist with comparisons to benchmark data, and support HR leadership with evaluations and recommendations aligned with organizational strategy and culture.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Requirements

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Solid analytical skills, including the ability to review data, identify trends, and prepare summaries and dashboards.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work collaboratively across HR, leadership, and employee groups.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
* Commitment to supporting an inclusive, respectful, and engaging workforce.

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, or a related field.
* Prior experience supporting employee engagement surveys, compensation, benefits, DE&I, or data analysis, reporting, or benchmarking is preferred.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Experience with or the ability to learn HRIS systems, Survey tools, and Collaboration platforms.
* Comfort using digital tools, reporting dashboards, and AI-enabled productivity tools
* PHR, SHRM-CP, World at Work coursework, DE&I or Employee Engagement-related training or certofication is a plus.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.
