*Overnight Medical Scheduler*
*Location:* Randallstown, MD *Pay:* $17/hour *Work Environment* Office-based, non-patient-facing role. Business casual dress code required (no denim, athletic wear, leggings, scrubs, or tennis shoes). *Schedule* * Training: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM for approximately 6 weeks (may extend based on learning pace) * Post-training shift: Overnight, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM * Every other weekend required * No time off permitted during the first 90 days *Compensation and Benefits* *Pay Rate:* $17/hour *Duration:* 6 months (Contract to Hire) *If eligible, benefits may include:* * Medical, Dental, Vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage * 401(k) Retirement Plan (Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available) * Voluntary Life & AD&D (employee + dependents) * Short-term and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Time Off / Leave (PTO, Vacation, or Sick Leave) *About the Role* The Overnight Medical Scheduler supports a high-volume call environment by answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, transferring calls, responding to patient requests, and ensuring follow-up on all inquiries. This role is critical to delivering an excellent patient experience and requires strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills. *Key Responsibilities* * Answer a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently * Schedule and manage patient appointments * Transfer calls to appropriate departments * Respond to patient call bell requests and assess needs * Support emergency overhead paging * Track, document, and follow up on all calls to ensure resolution * Maintain accurate data entry in scheduling systems *Required Skills & Experience* *Top Skills - Must Haves:* * Strong customer service skills * Excellent phone etiquette * Solid computer skills * Ability to manage high call volumes * Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM (3-minute on-screen typing test required) *Nice to Have Skills:* * Medical scheduling experience * Healthcare or patient access background * Call center, receptionist, switchboard, or telephone operator experience * Familiarity with medical terminology *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract-to-Hire position located in Randallstown, MD. *Pay and Benefits* The pay rate for this position is $17/hour.
