Member Service Representative - Full Time

We are thrilled to announce our expansion into West Michigan! We are currently seeking motivated, community-minded candidates to join our founding team as a Full-Time Member Services Representative at our upcoming Kentwood/Grand Rapids location.

When we open our doors to this new community, you will play a key role in establishing the Genisys reputation for excellence. This position also includes the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served by performing a broad variety of member services functions in our newest market.

• Building Relationships: Cross-selling credit union products and services to provide high-quality member service and reach credit union growth goals.

• Account Management: Opening and closing membership accounts with a focus on a great first impression.

• Lending: Performing loan transactions-from processing applications through payout-following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines.

• Problem Solving: Ensuring members' requests and questions are promptly resolved in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.

• Brand Ambassadorship: Ensuring the Credit Union's quality reputation is maintained and projected within the Kentwood and Grand Rapids communities.

• Licensing: Obtaining the appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Sales experience preferred.

• Knowledge of lending processes is helpful.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.

• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment.

• Solid typing and data entry skills.
