The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Benjamin M. Statler College at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Temporary, Part-time WV LTAP Equipment Operator Trainer. About the Opportunity The Equipment Operator Trainer supports the mission of the West Virginia Local Technical Assistance Program by delivering handson heavy equipment, load securement, and chainsaw training, to local transportation agencies. This position develops and conducts classroom and field work training, oneonone instruction, and onsite, agencyspecific training focused on safely and effectively operating heavy equipment and other specialized tools used in roadway maintenance and construction. The trainer prepares instructional materials, conducts skill assessments, and provides practical guidance to help agencies improve operator proficiency and workplace safety. Travel is required for this position; thus, a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do Training Delivery & Instruction
