The Lead Content Manager is responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimization of marketing and editorial content across UVA Health's channels, including owned digital properties (websites, blogs, newsletters), nurture and digital campaigns, print, and paid marketing and brand campaigns. This role ensures that content development aligns with organizational marketing objectives including brand awareness, reputation, patient acquisition, and service line growth.
The Lead Content Manager is an experienced writer, strategic thinker and leader who oversees the development, governance, and optimization of content. This position leads the editorial content team and collaborates closely with leads across the department to support content efforts for target audiences, primarily external facing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 6+ years of relevant professional experience; to include 2+ years of formal management experience required. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
