We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

Customer Service Representative is the direct point of contact for customers. This position is responsible for entering and processing orders and inquiries relative to West Liberty Foods and managing customer orders from entry to ship. They will coordinate between the customer and warehouse/shipping personnel for accurate and timely processing of order requests. This position is responsible for receiving and maintaining up to date account contact information in company data management systems. They will set up customer accounts as required for shipments and maintain according to customer requirements. Additionally, CSRs will investigate, enter and resolve claims while minimizing overall insurance program costs.

Compensation Details: Minimum hourly wage starts at $19.00 per hour up to $22.00+ per hour with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Inbound and outbound order receipt, entry and allocation.
  • Analyze customer claim details to determine claim validity, research and obtain supporting documentation.
  • Set up and maintain customer accounts in business intelligence systems and related customer data files.
  • Make a determination on the best course of resolution for order issues/discrepancies.
  • Manage the processing of customer orders in accordance with their polices and procedures.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with all departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain (inventory), Logistics, QA, Operations).
  • Analyze account characteristics and work with customers to recommend appropriate solutions to provide "best in class" customer service.
  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Partner with all departments of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:



  • Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience in a related position is preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Computer experience - Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
  • Must be able to problem solve.
  • Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
