StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Teams for the 2026 summer term.

As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with existing production engineering teams to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Dallas, TX
  • Students will work with experience engineers on project types that include Repair Industrialization, Tools and Fixture Design and Manufacture, and Process Improvement

Job Duties:

Students will be involved in organizing, updating and compliance activities with the DFW Repair Center tooling which will include the following:

  • Update/Create work instructions with each of our Component Repair Team
  • Create Op-Sheets for component repair processes
  • Perform First Article Inspections for new repairs or process changes
  • Assist/perform Lab duties for chemical testing/metallurgical testing as needed
  • Create tool drawings as required
  • Create tooling equivalency documents for locally designed tooling
  • Assist in repair and development of current and new parts coming in for repair
  • Other projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Completed engineering courses
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Drawing skills - Autocad, Auto desk, Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc
  • A strong desire to learn and be a contributing member of a team
  • Strong self-motivation and organization skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Internship Details:
  • The internship term will be - Summer 2026 (beginning mid-May)
  • The length of the internship is 10-12 weeks
  • Located in Dallas, TX; **students must have own lodging.
