The building was recently transformed into a 286-room luxury hotel with 16,000-sq-ft of stunning event spaces, signature dining experiences and a reimagined front entrance on Newbury Street. Overview The Revenue Manager supports the Complex Director of Revenue Management in identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities across multiple properties within the portfolio. This role is responsible for executing pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies that drive RevPAR growth and market share performance. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Reservations, and Operations, the Revenue Manager ensures disciplined revenue management practices across all distribution channels and demand segments. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable pricing and inventory strategies. The Revenue Manager serves as a key resource within the revenue organization, supporting forecasting, revenue strategy meetings, market analysis, and distribution management while continuing to develop leadership and presentation capabilities in a fast paced, ownership visible environment. Responsibilities * Support preparation and execution of short and long term forecasts including weekly, in the month, and rolling 30 60 90 day forecasts * Assist the Complex Director of Revenue in developing longer range forecasts and demand outlooks beyond 90 days to support ownership and budget planning * Analyze booking pace, market demand, and pickup trends to ensure forecasts remain accurate and actionable * Monitor market demand drivers including citywide events, competitor pricing, and macro market conditions Daily Revenue Strategy * Execute daily pricing and inventory decisions within the RMS and CRS to optimize revenue performance * Monitor daily pickup trends and run detailed pace analysis across future dates, maintaining visibility into booking trends 45 to 60 days in advance * Participate in Daily Business Review meetings and support rate recommendations and inventory management decisions * Identify opportunities to shift business mix between transient and group segments to maximize profitability Weekly Revenue Strategy and Meetings * Participate in and support weekly revenue strategy meetings and RevMAX discussions * Prepare revenue performance insights, pickup analysis, and forward looking strategy recommendations * Develop the ability to present strategy and respond to questions from leadership and ownership stakeholders * Ensure action items from revenue meetings are executed and tracked across departments Distribution and OTA Strategy * Support management of third party distribution channels including Booking.com, HotelTrader, BAH, Travco and other intermediaries * Assist with building, loading, and maintaining OTA promotions and ensuring rate parity across channels * Participate in OTA partner meetings and prepare data driven talking points to support distribution strategy * Monitor channel performance and recommend adjustments to maximize profitability Digital Marketing and E Commerce Coordination * Collaborate with digital marketing partners and internal marketing teams to align pricing strategy with digital campaigns * Support monthly e commerce reporting and performance analysis * Develop working knowledge of digital marketing strategy including website conversion, paid search campaigns, and online demand drivers Pricing and Sell Strategy * Support sell rate decisions and quoting strategies for transient and group business * Maintain and update rate codes, seasons, and pricing structures within the RMS and distribution systems * Assist in evaluating corporate negotiated rates and long term pricing strategies * Support long range pricing analysis and preparation for future year rate projections and contract negotiations Market Analysis and Reporting * Prepare weekly and monthly STR commentary analyzing index performance, market share trends, and competitive positioning * Provide insights into market dynamics and identify opportunities for improved positioning within the competitive set * Assist in preparing ownership reporting and revenue presentations Month End and Financial Reporting * Complete month end revenue reports and reconcile performance with financial results and P & L reporting * Ensure accuracy and alignment between revenue reports, financial reporting, and operational data sources * Provide detailed analysis of revenue performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement Leadership and Team Collaboration * Serve as a resource for revenue analysts, reservations leaders, and cross functional team members seeking revenue strategy guidance * Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align strategy and ensure revenue opportunities are maximized * Support training and development initiatives across the revenue and reservations teams * Foster a culture of analytical thinking, accountability, and continuous improvement within the revenue function Qualifications Education and Experience * Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel revenue management, revenue analysis, or a related commercial role within hospitality * Strong understanding of STR reporting, market demand drivers, and competitive benchmarking * Experience working with RMS, CRS, PMS, and channel management systems * Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities * Advanced Excel proficiency required * Experience supporting multiple properties or complex portfolios preferred General Competencies * Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail * Ability to communicate revenue strategy clearly to operational and commercial teams * Comfortable operating in fast paced environments with leadership visibility * Strong organizational and prioritization skills * Ability to collaborate cross functionally with sales, marketing, and finance | |||||||||||||
