About the Role
As a Floating Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties in your region. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about property upkeep and resident satisfaction.

Property Maintenance
  • Perform and supervise maintenance repairs.
  • Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies.
Operations
  • Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software.
  • Maintain budgets and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team.
  • Provide feedback and resolve conflicts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred. Associates hired without a CPO certification will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Three or more years' hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
  • Availability to be on-call and responsive to after hour emergencies.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time or more, including locally and out of the area.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$30.40 - $32.96

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
