About the Job

Job Duties:

Project Responsibilities 70%
* Supports CRM and MMRC team with equipment management and monitoring to maintain research documentation and compliance
* Supports CRM and MMRC team with driving development, procedure development, and ongoing education
* Documents and tracks research requirements for block randomized schedule or other randomized requirements of the clinical trial
* Works with CRM team to establish a rotating schedule of drivers and team to cover all research trial shifts
* Completes regular vehicle checks for vehicles involved in clinical trial and MMRC to document for research compliance
* Collaborates with research team to collect and time data on project
* Reviews and analyzes driving and vehicles ongoing for MMRC

Community Outreach 30%
* Communications with partnering EMS agencies to ensure rapid and safe response to ECMO activations
* Develops communication with EMS for equipment needs or cleaning options during clinical trial shifts
* Works with CRM research team to accomplish outreach to partnering EMS agencies
* Documents and tracks outreach and training for research projects for compliance to requirements
* Assists with other community outreach for mobile ECMO truck and ambulance

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
*BA/BS degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience equaling at least 6 years
* Class B driver's license (or higher) and current CDL health card
* At least 6 years of experience operating and servicing trucks and heavy vehicles, with specific EMS/Fire response experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with faculty and staff,
* Demonstrated experience and organization of general and day-to-day office processes with the ability to work independently and multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:
* Higher Education Certificate (EMS or Fire) or Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and 6 years relevant experience
* Experience in an academic, public safety, or medical environment
* Experience driving for emergency response for 5 years or more
* Demonstrated ability to work with and adapt to new technologies and processes without significant direction

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $37.00-$40.00/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment: 50% Appointment
