As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Desk in McLean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a premier retail location, you will welcome guests, manage access control and badge processes, and support a positive visitor experience while monitoring cameras and alarms for security-related concerns. You will document activity, communicate clearly with store teams, and respond to issues with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store teams by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and main entry area, greeting and directing visitors, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and supporting access control for back-of-house areas.
• Monitor the sales floor entry and nearby areas from the front desk, watching for suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and communicating observations to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing notifications and supporting de-escalation when needed.
• Document activities, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic logs, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
