As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help keep operations moving by screening people and deliveries, monitoring assigned areas, and conducting routine patrols. You will stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries entering and exiting the distribution location by verifying identification, checking credentials, and following entry and exit protocols.
• Conduct package and/or bag inspections and use screening tools as assigned to help identify prohibited items and support loss prevention efforts.
• Monitor access points, check-in processes, and nearby work areas for unusual activity, and document observations in required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site leadership and emergency services when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
