The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of field operations and ensuring crews have the leadership, coordination, and resources needed to stay productive. The role serves as the primary link between field operations and project management, helping ensure work is properly planned and efficiently executed. This position has supervisory responsibilities and reports directly to the General Manager.
Primary Focus * Crew productivity and utilization * Work sequencing across crews and projects * Equipment deployment and resource allocation * Fleet and tooling coordination * Field problem resolution * Coordination between operations and project management * Storm response planning and mobilization * Maintaining overall production throughput Typical Responsibilities * Coordinate daily field operations across all crews * Support superintendents in maintaining crew productivity * Allocate equipment and resources between crews as work conditions change * Resolve operational issues impacting field execution * Coordinate fleet, tooling, and materials needed to keep work moving | |
