Part-Time AM Shift Bartender

DoubleTree Hotel by the Galleria is looking for someone that is passionate about delivering great guest service and creating memorable experiences. If you're outgoing, personable and have previous bartending experience submit your resume to apply!

Required Skills & Abilities:

-At least one (1) year of bartending experience required

-Flexible availability to work any AM shift, mid-shifts, holidays and weekends

-Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written

-High comfortability working with computers

-Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours

-Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds

-Current TABC and Food Handler certification required

Job Description:

-Set up bar, requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits and glassware

-Take alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink orders, mix and serve using prudent portion control

-Take food orders and promptly serve in a warm and hospitable manner

-Maintain cleanliness of the bar area

-Greet and engage with guests approaching and dining at the bar

-Abide by all state, federal and hotel requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and practice prudent portion control
