Summary of Position

• Performs general housekeeping including but not limited to mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintenance duties

Principal Accountabilities

• Under the direction of the supervisor of housekeeping and maintenance, performs general housekeeping including but not limited to mopping, vacuuming, dusting, shoveling snow, maintenance duties.
  
• Makes trips to off-site storage locations for supplies, materials and documents in storage.
  
• Transports deliveries to center storage areas and distributes supplies, as necessary.
  
• Assists in placing/taking heavy supplies or materials into or out of storage.
  
• Dispenses and picks up hazardous waste containers.
  
• Assists, under direction of trained personnel, in general area clean-up following the decontamination of a hazardous or infectious spill.
  
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
