Description
Position Summary: The Social Media Associate is is a key member of the FMHC marketing team responsible for developing, executing, and managing social media strategies for FMHC and five-member bank accounts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this team member is both a strategic and creative thinker serving as a subject matter expert on the use of both paid and organic social in achieving marketing goals. The associate creates engaging content, manages online communities, and analyzes performance to enhance brand visibility across all social media platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Design and implement social media strategies aligned with business objectives. These strategies will be informed by marketplace trends, platform algorithms, and competitor activity. Stay current on social media trends, emerging channels, and best practices; test and make recommendations for new initiatives and innovative concepts to better leverage value of social media programs. Content Creation and Scheduling: Develop engaging content including text, images, videos, GIFs, reels and stories; maintain content calendars and schedule posts using a social media platform. Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions; foster engagement and build relationships with followers to enhance brand loyalty. Paid Social: Recommend, buy, and manage social media boosted and sponsored content and advertisements to targeted audiences - increasing reach, engagement, and leads. Analytics and Reporting: Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, click-through rates; generate reports and adjust strategies based on insights. Present reports on social performance to internal teams and clients, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Collaboration: Work with marketing team members and member banks to execute integrated campaigns and maintain consistent brand voice. Provides leadership to social media brand ambassadors to improve coordination of messaging and to encourage employee advocacy. Crisis Management: Handle escalations or negative feedback professionally, protecting the brand's reputation; lead bank closure/delay announcements. General Responsibilities:
