FP&A Business Intelligence & Systems Specialist

In this role, you will support our data and reporting needs by creating impactful data visualizations and insights, automating reports, while also helping to define our future SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Business Data Cloud (BDC) strategy. You'll work with a range of tools, including Microsoft Power BI, Excel, OneStream, and SAP, to connect the disparate data sources and present findings in a clear, actionable format. This hybrid role blends hands on PowerBI development with strategic planning to shape how data is modeled, integrated and visualized across both Microsoft and our SAP ERP platform to drive a unified analytics ecosystem. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning and analysis data, financial applications, and ensure the company's BI plan aligns with business needs and system capability. Key competencies needed for this position include the ability to think strategically and communicate directly and clearly. In addition, the individual will need to have the ability to communicate and partner with numerous internal and external as well as varied levels in the organization to support their reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current planning and reporting tools and establish a roadmap for the planning, forecasting, and reporting systems landscape in alignment with evolution of the business and drive automation of processes to enable future scaling.

  • Work with department heads and project leaders to generate and analyze financial/performance data for key initiatives and projects.

  • Work with management and Business Unit leaders to implement, maintain and evolve real-time dashboard reporting for both operations (company and franchise) as well as the overall company.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI, including designing dashboards, creating interactive reports and connecting to various data sources.

  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to help business teams make data driven decisions.

  • Data Management: Connect and integrate various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with business owners to understand their reporting needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Reporting Automation: Create automated reports to streamline data delivery across the team and ensure timely updates to executive leadership.

  • Training & Support: Provide training to business users on how to utilize dashboards and reports effectively. Develop reporting definitions to ensure a shared understanding of metrics.

  • Be the systems administrator for finance owned tools such as OneStream, SAC, and PowerBI

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or data analytics.

  • Effective oral and written communication ability

  • Ability to quickly grasp various business concepts, including both the financial and operations side

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI with an understanding of basic data visualization principles

  • Range of systems experience, including planning and forecasting tools, financial software ideally OneStream or similar (Hyperion Planning, Cognos, Adaytum, BPC, etc.) databases and spreadsheets

  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP and planning applications

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in financial planning and analysis or Business Intelligence/data analytics related experience

  • Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projects

  • Flexibility to meet travel requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, and word-based programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or similar designation preferred

  • Public company experience a plus

  • Korean speaking a plus

  • May require some travel
