Position: Reliability Engineer

Location: Chester, PA

Pay: $75 - $105 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to drive maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with plant leadership, maintenance teams, and production units to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a subject matter expert in reliability engineering, promoting best practices across maintenance and operations.
  • Develop and optimize asset care strategies using methodologies such as RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) and FMEA.
  • Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) using tools such as 5-Why and other analytical techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve chronic equipment issues and improve uptime.
  • Provide technical guidance on equipment maintenance, repair, and installation best practices.
  • Analyze equipment performance data and evaluate cost-benefit scenarios to support reliability decisions.
  • Develop and update maintenance procedures and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reliability, and production performance.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, condition monitoring, and reliability best practices.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, FMEA, and reliability methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data to support decision-making.
  • CMRP certification and Process Safety Management experience preferred.
