JOB SUMMARY
This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst optimizes payroll system performance, supports regulatory compliance, leads testing for upgrades and enhancements, and serves as the primary liaison among Payroll Operations, HRIS, IT, Finance, and Compliance to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing and system governance. * Identify employee groups affected by system configuration changes, assess the estimated hours and financial implications, and evaluate proposed enhancements. Internal Audit - Conduct Compliance Audits, Monitoring, and Investigations
* Execute diverse audits across financial, operational, and compliance scopes, preparing detailed reports and presentations.
* Responsible for covering a broad range of audits, including for wage and hour compliance, payroll earnings and deductions, retirement plan contributions, worker's compensation plans, and other audits as required.
* Conduct regular audits of payroll configurations and exemption classifications to mitigate compliance risks and support audits and inquiries.
* Audits large data sets utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Prism, and programs complicated formulas and macros to audit payroll data efficiently and accurately.
* Support the development and implementation of internal control measures. External Reporting
* Facilitate the provision of reports and information in response to subpoenas, internal and external audits, as well as external data requests for vendors and stakeholders.
* Design and creates custom reports used for the conduction of bi-weekly, quarterly, and semi-annual audits.
* Main payroll point of contact for external annual audits for all entities, compiling and providing documentation and substantiation to the auditors. Lead System Testing and Enhancements
* Oversee functional testing, system updates, integrations, and improvements affecting payroll calculations, labor distribution, and reporting.
* Ensures the completeness of test plans, develops testing, and perform complex testing and analysis for programming changes in the payroll or timekeeping systems involving hours or pay calculations, earnings, deductions, job classifications, and other codes to confirm that wage and hour laws and retirement plan provisions are followed. Process Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
* Analyze existing systems and processes for efficiency gains, recommend enhancements, and implement solutions.
* Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, pay codes, compliance rules, and change control procedures.
* Provides recommendations and implements solutions to mitigate risks related to operational and pay processes along with ERP agile enhancement cycles, ERP semiannual upgrades, automation through robotic process automation or artificial intelligence tools.
* Develops or improves processes, procedures, forms, reports, and audits to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations as well internal policies and contractual obligations. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited college or university or equivalent. Experience:Five (5) years of relevant experience such as internal auditing, business systems, risk mitigation, wage and hour, systems reporting, and/or data analytics. KNOWLEDGE

* Experience with Wage & Hour compliance, Workday, UKG.
* Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel (e.g. complex formulas, macros, lookups etc.), PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
* Heightened attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and calculations, both for own work and that of others.
* Advanced problem-solving, interpretive and analytical skills.
* Strong time management and organization skills, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
