The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Rochester seeks a qualified and experienced individual to begin as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Spanish in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in language education and demonstrate expertise in Spanish instruction at the university level. The candidate is expected to teach all levels of Spanish language courses with a teaching load of three courses a semester. This is a renewable, non-tenure-track position. Job Responsibilities:

Salary range: $53,000-$71,500. The referenced pay range represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined within the jobs salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
