| Position Summary |
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Position Management & Recruitment Coordinator will oversee position management and hiring processes at
FMD. As the coordinator of FMD's position management efforts, this position works with
FMD and departmental leadership in the development of positions and organizational alignment to support departmental objectives. This position serves as the first point of contact for questions related to position updates, postings, recruitment, and compensation compliance for all units within
FMD, as well as
CHRP for the division, and provides secondary review on position updates in UGAJobs. The coordinator will also oversee the recruitment process for all
FMD. This includes posting positions, recruitment, processing hiring proposals, and onboarding. The coordinator also serves on panels or committees as a representative of
FMD. Additionally, this position will manage data related to vacancies, onboarding, and turnover, such as tracking time-to-hire, analyzing turnover rates via exit interviews, maintaining
HRIS accuracy, and reporting metrics to guide workforce planning and retention. |

Position Management
- This position will manage data related to vacancies, onboarding, and turnover, such as tracking time-to-hire, analyzing turnover rates via exit interviews, maintaining HRIS accuracy, and reporting metrics to guide workforce planning and retention.
- Confers with leadership to determine personnel needs; analyzes specific requirements of positions to develop and maintain appropriate job descriptions.
- Oversees the disbursement of position management requirements and distributes appropriately to hiring staff.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance for the newly created Operations Support Manager positions, as well as the existing ones. This includes developing training materials, delivering continuous education on position management processes, and serving as the primary subjectmatter expert to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational alignment across the institution.
- Oversees the posting of positions.
- Work with leadership to ensure appropriate workflow related to Position Management and recommend changes to ensure appropriate controls.
- Maintain lists of approved departmental positions along with assigned salary grade levels and ensure positions are removed from systems when no longer necessary.
- Assures compliance with all OnBoarding and I9 regulations; resolves issues as needed.
- Represents the division in position management-related discussions, meetings, and on related committees.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance candidate experience, and improve data accuracy.
- Participate in interviews for employment as needed.
- Review and establish standard hiring procedures and resources to facilitate the process for the division.

- Develop means to recruit through activities including, but not limited to: tabling, recruitment fairs, advertising, and referral programs.
- Develop and maintain key recruitment metrics and provide valuable information to leadership regarding recruitment.
- Develop and maintain a forecast for hiring needs to ensure adequate lead time in hiring new staff.
- Review and recommend opportunities for recruitment.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance candidate experience, and improve data accuracy.
