The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is seeking an Administrative Officer 1 to lead the Bureau's Employee and Partner Engagement Programs, along with other high-impact projects that support operations across the entire organization. This position reports directly to the Director of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and provides supervision to one Administrative Assistant 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will oversee several key administrative functions that support the Bureau's operations and workforce. Staff Hiring Process:
- You will track each vacancy from the moment a position becomes open through the employee's start date. This includes monitoring every step of the hiring process, collaborating with hiring managers to ensure timely completion of required actions, and reporting process timeliness-such as the interval from vacancy to posting or from receipt of candidate lists to selection-to Division Chiefs and the Director. You will also guide hiring managers through the administrative components of the process.
BMV Employee Recognition Program:
- You will lead the Bureau's employee recognition efforts, managing the current program and developing new initiatives designed to strengthen employee engagement and morale.
BMV SECA Coordinator:
- You will serve as the Bureau's SECA coordinator, overseeing the annual campaign, organizing volunteers, reviewing results, and facilitating after-action reviews to support continuous improvement.
Business Partner Outreach:
- You will manage and coordinate outreach activities with business partners, including scheduling regular and topic-specific meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring assigned staff complete tasks within expected timeframes.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
