OEM Account Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

As an OEM Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within Electrification Smart Buildings (ELSB), in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the territory: NC, SC, VA

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the United States.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Drive strategic account management for OEM customers, serving as the primary liaison while executing sales and account plans to grow market share and margin.

• Identify, acquire, and develop new OEM customers through proactive outreach, networking, and targeted engagement.

• Deeply understand customer business drivers, competitive landscape, and market trends to shape strategy, guide negotiations, and influence internal teams.

• Strengthen customer relationships by coordinating training, resolving issues, enabling crossselling, and ensuring a seamless, valueadded experience with ABB.

• BA or BS with minimum of 5+ years related experience

• Experience with complex contact negotiations, including strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Experience working with OEM customers and channel partners

• Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs

• Business travel in district to support assigned accounts as required

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually and is bonus eligible.
