Job Overview To provide support in carrying out all quality control functions to ensure that quality requirements aremet andperform quality control assignments asrequired. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties Performs in-process inspection/testing using approved test procedures, qualityproceduresand visual aids, and documents the results. Assistsin data entry and performs various electronic transactions. Reviews Device History Records (DHRs) for completion and release of non-sterileproduct. Performs destructive testing. May perform other various QC testing as needed. Contributes to team effort byaccomplishingrelated duties as requested. Inspection of some finished goods components per specifications using various measuring devices and documents. Provide input to documentationgaps,process improvements. Reacts to changing priorities and manufacturing inspection needs with little supervision. Demonstrate good manufacturing practices including recordkeeping MinimumRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years' experience working in a QC/Manufacturing environment preferred. Strong communicationskills (English). Required Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities Demonstrated ability to learn and understand QC core structure (inspection, testing, using various measuring devices, documentation of results, abilityto follow DMR). Must have a high commitment to safety. The ability to perform repetitive tasks witha high levelof accuracy. Able to work in acontrolledclean environment. Self-motivated and able to takedirectionto perform all necessary duties. Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments. Capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Demonstratesabilityto manage time efficiently. Strong analytical skills Supervision/ManagementOfOthers: NA MinimumRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum ofone year ofexperience working in a QC/Manufacturing environment preferred. Strong communicationskills (English). Required Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities Demonstrated ability to learn and understand QC core structure (inspection, testing, using various measuring devices, documentation of results, abilityto follow DMR). Ability to teach and educate employees to improve processes and productivity. The ability to perform repetitive tasks witha high levelof accuracy. Good computer skills including MS Office (Word/Excel). Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO standards is desirable. Able to work in acontrolledclean environment. Self-motivated and able to takedirectionto perform all necessary duties. Internal and External Contacts / Relationships Responsible for contactofinternal;and external customers and the responsibility to the development of those relationships in both a professional and respectful manner. The understanding of your representation of the Getinge AB in any communication, verbal or electronic. Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices areexhibitedin decisions. May have tolift upto 50 lbs. Duties are performed in a manufacturing environment. Personal protective equipment may berequiredas dictated byworkenvironment. This position is open on first shift with the working hours of 6:20am-2:50pm.
