Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach reports directly to the Head Men's Basketball Coach and is responsible for assisting in the organization and administration of the Men's basketball program in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University, Atlantic 10 Conference and NCAA.

  • Assists with recruiting
  • Assists with scouting and video breakdown
  • Assists with student-athlete development
  • Assists with donor relations
  • Assists with program operations and management
  • Assists with donor relations and community engagement
  • Assists with student-athlete academic services
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field and two-four years of related coaching experience at collegiate level.
Qualifications

  • Experience working in a culturally diverse environment with strong preference to those with NCAA collegiate basketball coaching and recruiting experience.
  • Working knowledge of compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
  • Ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training as well as in match tactical adjustment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Candidates should have experience working in a high paced environment and experience with college basketball coaching or playing and knowledge of recruitment process of student-athletes.
