Your Role on Our Team:

The Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for owning complex manufacturing systems and processes endtoend, drive sustainable improvements, and act as a technical and cultural leader across Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead process development, line readiness, DOE validation, QBs, and production ramps of new complex equipment and technology.
  • Ensure site Engineering and Operations resources are fully integrated during line install, development, and startup.
  • Ensure tooling, equipment, work instructions, and controls are robust, standardized, and productionready.
  • Act as the manufacturing voice in early design and risk discussions to prevent latestage surprises.
  • Conduct time studies, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve cycle time, labor efficiency, and overall process flow.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to improve PM schedules and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Lead highly complex root cause investigations for chronic downtime, yield loss, and quality escapes.
  • Provide daily floor support to troubleshoot process, tooling, and equipment issues.
  • Utilize key process indicators to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and uptime of production equipment.
  • Ensure communication of process changes and updates across shifts and plant personnel.
  • Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement projects as necessary.
  • Mentor Manufacturing Engineers I/II and technicians.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall business goals.
  • Responsible for the completion of assigned manufacturing projects; identify potential project risks and issues and implement proactive measures to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, actively challenging the status quo to deliver optimal solutions for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate standards.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related experience required
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, stamping, assembly, coating, automation)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CAD and data analysis tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Excel)
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and structured problem solving
  • Advanced computer knowledge and skills in MS Office/Project and Solidworks/AutoCAD/NX

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • PLCs, robotics, or automated systems experience
  • Hands-on experience with tooling design or process validation

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • 25% Travel
  • The employee may be required to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Prolonged standing of eight or more hours a day
  • Frequent walking
  • Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching
  • Employees may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells
