Your Team, Your Impact

We are looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer with strong experience in SSD hardware, SoC bringup, and postsilicon validation.
The candidate will play a key technical role in leading the validation strategy, debugging complex issues, and collaborating across architecture, design, firmware, and application teams.

What You Can Expect

* Lead postsilicon validation of SSD SoC and PHY subsystems, including performance, power, functional, and stress testing.
* Develop, port, and execute bare-metal test firmware to validate hardware blocks, interfaces, and system-level integration.
* Own bringup of new silicon: instrumenting test environments, enabling interfaces, validating clocks/power, and debugging hardware issues.
* Define and lead validation strategy, test coverage, and test methodologies for nextgeneration SSD chipsets.
* Develop advanced test frameworks, diagnostic tools, and benchmarking applications.
* Perform detailed failure analysis, rootcause debugging, and crossteam collaboration with RTL, DV, analog, FW, and system teams.
* Review and author test plans, validation checklists, test reports, and signoff packages.
* Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers, customer debug teams, and manufacturing test teams.

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience; or Master's/Ph.D. degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
* Strong proficiency in C/C++, ARM assembly, and 32/64-bit ARM CPU architecture.
* Experience in firmware development under bare-metal and/or Linux environments, including debugging on SoCs for embedded applications.
* Extensive experience in pre-/postsilicon validation, SoC debugging, and hardware/firmware interaction analysis.
* Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, etc.
* Experience with SSD controllers is a plus.
* Knowledge of interfaces such as NAND/PCIe/NVMe/DDR is a plus.
* Prior experience with SSD controllers, PHY bringup, or systemlevel SSD validation is highly preferred.

* Familiarity with advanced NAND technologies, including LTT and SCA, is a significant advantage.

* Flexible, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
