We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer & Maintenance Manager to join our team in Moorpark, CA. You will provide technical program leadership for the manufacturing engineers and lead the machine and facility maintenance teams for the Moorepark, CA campus. This role will champion preventive maintenance measures and serve as a key leader of the capital improvement strategy. In addition, the Engineering & Maintenance Manager will provide technical and facility management support to resolve issues and coordinate with other departments. This position will report to the Site Leader and will support strategic decisions that affect the facility's productivity and overall transformation.

You will:

  • Be a strong communicator and change agent, aligning teams and coordinating resources.
  • Create processes that drive the smooth execution of the project and maintenance work, including championing the management of change.
  • Reduce equipment downtime, maintenance costs, and facility costs.
  • Teach and coach teams on preventative maintenance strategies, set KPI's, and communicate results.
  • Creates and drives alignment for the future in both maintenance and capital improvements.
  • Sets capital strategy for improved site productivity and increased use of automation.
  • Prioritizes safety in team leadership and the enforcement of safe practices.
  • Take responsibility for planning and cost control of the maintenance function, and for coordination of maintenance activities with production managers and supervisors.
  • Works with production supervision to ensure assigned maintenance is being performed by operators.
  • Implements preventive and predictive maintenance and TPM programs.
  • Evaluates the performance and qualifications of maintenance employees and provides training and guidance as required.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communications with plant management to promote an understanding of the maintenance function and enhance its perceived value to the organization.
  • Supports lean efforts, including execution of the transformation plan, CCFF/MMF/TPM events.
  • Champions energy savings ideation and projects
  • Key members of the Moorepark Leadership Team are responsible for establishing and enforcing policy.
  • Helps operating teams become more autonomous by transferring knowledge from maintenance and engineering teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management
  • Demonstrates understanding of maintenance management best practices.
  • Exemplary communication skills, oral and written, with a proven record of gaining alignment.
  • Experience in capital project management.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 2+ years supervisory experience

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $105100 - $195000 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
