Ulteig is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Senior Project Manager/Team Leader, helping to bring the most impactful transportation and water infrastructure projects in the U.S. from vision to reality. In this exciting role, you'll join our elite Critical Infrastructure Command Team, a talented, traveling team of construction quality professionals helping the most complex infrastructure projects meet quality, regulatory, schedule, and budget milestones, and solving challenges others may shy away from. From bridges and highways to tunnels, dams, and channels, you will be responsible for leading the quality control strategy, mobilizing teams, and driving execution on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. You will lead project mobilization, execution, and resourcing while mentoring engineers and field professionals responsible for construction coordination and management. Working directly with clients and project partners, you will ensure expectations are clearly understood and consistently met-delivering projects that achieve demanding quality, regulatory, schedule, and budget milestones. This position is for those interested in traveling, exploring, and deploying to multi-billion dollar, transformative projects across the U.S.-it requires travel for extended periods of time, approximately 75%-80% of the year, with generous paid allowances for time spent with loved ones. Some working hours will be during evenings, overnight, and weekends.

What You'll Do



  • As a Senior Project Manager/Team Leader on the Critical Infrastructure Command Team, you'll:
  • Lead development of the quality control strategy, scope, and plan for large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects.
  • Lead mobilization, project execution, and resourcing.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the engineers with assigned responsibility for the coordination, execution, and construction management of engineering projects.
  • Collaborate across the business to develop best-in-class quality control and safety strategies, plans, and practices.
  • Hold team members accountable to the Critical Infrastructure Command Team's high standards.
  • Support in business development efforts and be a strong external representative and advocate for the Critical Infrastructure Command Team and for Ulteig industry-wide.



What We Expect from You



  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 10 years of related experience in large-scale heavy civil infrastructure construction required
  • 4 years of related experience managing construction inspection/quality teams required
  • DOT, ACI, or related certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a project team
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
  • Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $130,400-$176,500
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
