Job Description Allied Universal Event Services is hiring an Event Staff Operations Support Specialist as a paid internship opportunity to support our team at the upcoming NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, PA with potential for additional ongoing work in the region throughout the year. The Event Staff Operational Support Specialist Intern is responsible for providing event operations and account-level support for recruiting, new hire onboarding functions, licensing, scheduling, and logistics support.This position offers an ideal opportunity for college students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in sports event management and/or event security and facility operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities may vary and include some or all of the duties listed below based on operational needs.
Logistics and Procurement Assist with logistics including ordering, cleaning, and distribution of equipment and uniforms; maintain an accurate inventory count to prevent lost equipment, and transportation of deliverance of equipment; ensure equipment is properly tagged and logged for tracking Employee Orientation
