As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and location protocols for controlled or sensitive areas.
• Operate within Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions while maintaining readiness to address security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
