A Brief Overview
Organizes, develops and conducts daily therapeutic programs to facilitate rehabilitation of people with psychosocial illnesses; assesses, maintains and develops programs to enhance social, cognitive, physical and emotional functioning of patients.
What You Will Do
- Performs evaluation of therapeutic milieu program and develops effective treatment programs that are appropriate for individual or groups of patients.
- Provide effective group and individual therapeutic programming in a competent manner.
- Educate patient/family/caregiver in skills applicable for discharge plan.
- Initiates collaboration and participates in the interdisciplinary care process.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Educates interdisciplinary team in group process, serves as role model and participates in education of new and existing staff.
- Perform other department activities such as, but not limited to documentation, billing, support of department operations, etc.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
