The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences(A&S)isseeking anAccessibilityLeadtochampiondigital accessibility strategy and change management acrossone ofUVA's largest and most academically diverse schools. This role will shape how thousands of students, faculty, staff, and the broader communities they serve, experience accessible teaching, learning, and digital services.A&Shas already invested in accessibility tooling, data infrastructure, and institutional partnerships; this role willgrowthis foundationinto a mature, sustainable program withbroad impactacross the University. We are looking for someone who brings technical fluency in accessibility standards and assistive technologies, but whosepassionis changing how people work.You'llpartner with faculty and staff across departments, academic programs, research centers, and administrative units to create lasting change by making the accessible pathanachievable path. As the program matures, thechangemanagement skills you bring will extend well beyond digital accessibility into other strategic initiatives across Arts and Sciences. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The anticipated hiring range is $80,000-$90,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days on Grounds per week, with additional on-site presence as needed, in accordance with UVA's remote work guidelines.
