Operations Specialist / Customer Service Specialist Location: Jefferson City, MO (Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (No weekends) Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-time Duration: 4-month contract (with potential for extension and going direct) About the Role We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support our regional Operations Team. This role serves as the primary point of contact within the office and requires someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, can multitask effectively, and works well both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service abilities, excellent communication, and the confidence to lead by example. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries. * Support the Operations Team with discovery, documentation, and training as needed. * Assist with process improvement initiatives, including workflows, verification tasks, and data analysis. * Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company products, services, and processes. * Review clinical and operational documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. * Complete insurance verification, confirming patient eligibility, coverage, co-insurance, and deductibles. * Accurately process, verify, and submit required documentation. * Maintain working knowledge of customer service, intake, daily operations, and revenue cycle workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. * Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. * Ability to learn new technologies and understand data flow across systems. * Customer service experience and professional greeting/firstcontact skills. * Data entry accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Adaptability in a fastchanging environment; proactive and accountable work style. * Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines (preferred). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jefferson City, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
