Supply Chain Data Management Specialist

As the Supply Chain Data Management Specialist, you will perform supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. You will create integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage organizational master data ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., sales, marketing, operations, purchasing, logistics, etc.) and outside suppliers for new item creation.
  • Use Excel (can perform complex functions) to analyze large datasets.
  • Perform data reconciliation and cleansing activities.
  • Apply reason checking techniques to validate data and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Help develop Power BI or similar dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop metrics and other reporting for regular and ad-hoc needs.
  • Identify and lead efforts to improve efforts in areas related to job responsibility.
  • Additionally, you will perform other supply chain functions such as material procurement, production planning, and inventory control.

Qualifications

  • Planning and supply chain experience required.
  • ERP experience - a candidate with Deacom or Oracle knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with part number creation, including familiarity with item masters, bills of material, and routings preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and other MS Office programs
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • PPG or other coatings manufacturing background a plus.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools a plus.
  • ERP conversion/implementation experience a plus.
