Quality Control Manufacturing Inspector - 2nd Shift

Reporting To:

Manager, QA Control

Work Schedule:

Onsite - Orrville, OH

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Quality Control Manufacturing Inspector - 2nd Shift to join them. You will report to the QA Control Manager and have an onsite, 2nd Shift work schedule in Orrville, Ohio.

To be considered for this position, here's what you need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • 5 years of related quality experience in a machining-related manufacturing environment

As a Quality Control Manufacturing Inspector - 2nd Shift, you will:

  • Provide floor support across multiple machining cells.
  • Perform firstpiece inspections and verify operator measurements.
  • Conduct handson measurement using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
  • Ensure CMM machines are clean, calibrated, and running properly (CMM operation training available).
  • Assist operators with technical questions, measurement techniques, and inspection guidelines.
  • Perform final inspections, including reviewing documentation, sampling measurements, and completing signoffs.
  • Document and issue nonconformances using internal quality software.
  • Review batch paperwork and routers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support receiving inspection activities.
  • Assist with calibration and maintenance of equipment.
  • Participate in crossfunctional troubleshooting and problemsolving.

Orrville, OH $28.00-$36.00 Hourly
