Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Coordinator to join our team. The MortgageLoan Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and review of loan documents and required disclosures to support the closing of all loan types. This position provides operational support to the Mortgage Banker and Loan Processor while ensuring effective communication with clients and other internal and external parties to facilitate a compliant and efficient loan closing process.

Essential Functions Include:



  • Evaluate all loan information that has been input into the LOS software for the purpose of creating initial disclosures.
  • Obtain and organize all required information needed to complete the initial disclosures: credit report, SDAT, estimated HUD'1's etc. Create and ensure delivery and accuracy of initial disclosures for all loans within required timeframe.
  • Assist Processors with all aspects of mortgage loan Processing, as needed. To include, obtaining documentation, ordering appraisals, obtaining flood certs, tax transcripts, insurance policies, etc. and cancelling/denying of dead files.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, SAFE Act, etc.; ensures that the office and all personnel adhere to the same.
  • Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:



  • Full-time.
  • Non-exempt.
  • Days of Work: Monday-Friday.


Required Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • 1yr of office administration in mortgage lending environment.


Compensation:



  • The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $32.90 hourly.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
