Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist works in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Quality and Data Manager who is responsible for quality assurance, auditing, data reporting and entry, and administrative support within the Behavioral Health Division at Wisconsin Community Services (WCS). This work includes collecting and reporting data for program goals, objectives, and performance standards within the division, including CCS, UP, CLTS, and behavioral health programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Support quality assurance functions to ensure programs remain in full contract compliance.
  • Provide clerical support to Youth and Adult Behavioral Health Programs at WCS.
  • Perform data entry and quality assurance assistance for Unlimited Potential, monthly Medicaid checks and Functional Screens for Adult CCS, Medicaid checks for Hub and Spoke.
  • Utilize Microsoft Suite programs (Lists, Forms, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and agency database (AWARDS) to enhance organization of quality assurance data.
  • Assist in special project requests from the Behavioral Health Services Leadership Team assigned by Administrative Coordinator.
  • Assist in training and onboarding for programs integrating and utilizing agency data system, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Two years minimum of clerical or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of substance use, mental health, and life needs.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft programs, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
  • Ability to remain organized and support program organization.
  • Ability to implement data collection systems, interpret data, and report data.
  • Valid driver's license, automobile, and insurance sufficient to meet agency requirements.
  • Meet all the employee requirements including references, criminal background check, drug screen, and driver's license check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

May require sitting at a desk and/or computer for two or more hours at a time. Requires computer work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in an office environment at both 27th Street and 37th Street locations. Must be comfortable being around and/or interacting with people with mental health, substance use, and life needs. Flexible work schedule is required to meet the needs of staff and the people being served.
