Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Law Clerk to join our legal team. This role reports directly to our Senior Employment and Senior Corporate Counsels. Our Law Clerk will support the entire Regal Rexnord Corporation ("Regal Rexnord") in-house legal team and work on a variety of general corporate, commercial & government contract, real estate, environmental, labor & employment, corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation & dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, and trade, product, & ethical compliance matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review and preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support legal matters including but not limited to contract terms, employment related laws and compliance related issues.
  • Assist with the development of legal trainings for various business teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Enrollment in an ABA accredited law school
  • Status as a Rising 2L
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
