| Position Purpose |
Leads operational execution of Dartmouth's
MHA program to ensure an exceptional student experience and regulatory compliance. |
| Description |
This position is responsible for program administration for the Master of Health Administration degree program. Jointly offered from Geisel and Tuck, the
MHA degree prepares students for management careers in health care and is taught by Geisel and Tuck faculty in a hybrid online/in-person format. For more information see

- Five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration, student advising, or closely related field. Demonstrated successful work experience in an environment where collaboration with multiple stakeholders and flexibility were essential.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse, global constituencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including skill with technologically-mediated communication, e.g. web-based video-conferencing and social media.
- Facility with Canvas, Zoom, Google suite, Microsoft suite and GenAI platforms; ability to learn new technological platforms as needed.
- Analytic skills and competency with spreadsheets.
- Ability to build effective relationships with students, faculty, staff colleagues, and alumni.
- Ability/willingness to travel and/or to work evenings and weekends as required, to attend and manage MHA events.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Dartmouth driver certification.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Key Accountabilities
| Description |
Management:
- Leads day-to-day operational administration of the MHA program in coordination with HCME leadership.
- Oversees course delivery operations in support of faculty, including faculty communications, course development and delivery support, and LMS quality assurance. Escalates academic concerns to the Director as appropriate.
- In regular collaboration and consultation with the Tuck Academic Operations leadership team, coordinates, prioritizes, and delegates MHA program-related tasks and deliverables for the assigned Academic Coordinator.
- Effectively and professionally represents the MHA program while engaging with all constituents, including students, faculty, and Dartmouth colleagues.
- Provides input into annual budget planning.
- Implements program-level initiatives that support a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment aligned with institutional priorities aligned with institutional strategy.
- Establishes and monitors continuous improvement processes informed by assessment data.

Student Services:
- Designs and delivers student services that respond to the needs of MHA students, enhance the MHA learning experience, and build community.
- Oversees on-boarding and orientation for incoming students.
- Serves as primary academic advisor for MHA students; coordinates formal accommodations through Dartmouth's institutional processes; refers conduct matters and complex cases to appropriate university offices.
- Collaborates with colleagues and HCME leadership to plan residential periods and other in-person and virtual student events.
- Supports student activities, including student governance and case competition teams.

| Description |
Accreditation & Assessment:
- Leads operational management of CAHME accreditation cycle, including compliance tracking, documentation management, data reporting, and site visit coordination. Partners with the Director on strategic accreditation positioning and response development.
- Administers surveys and other data collection regarding the quality of the program and student satisfaction; analyzes and reports on the results; makes programmatic recommendations to HCME leadership.
