Position Summary
The Division of Enrollment
Management and Admissions Office are seeking an experienced, motivated, personable,
articulate, highly organized leader with energy, vision and attention to detail
to lead the UNM Welcome Center. This position requires a high energy individual
who can work independently and demonstrate the ability to make thoughtful and
professional decisions. This position will manage the daily functions and
operations of the Welcome Center, including managing professional staff and
numerous student staff. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, this position
has a vital role ensuring the daily execution of new student recruitment
strategies articulated through the welcome center - including highly positive visitor
engagement and experiences, event planning and management (both in-person and
online), representing the University to community members, and facility
management. Daily activities will include interaction with prospective
students, public presentations, campus tours, staff leadership, problem
solving, and use and maintenance of student databases. Work hours include 8am -
5pm and several weekends and some evenings.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
