QUICK SUMMARY We're looking for a Production Planning & Scheduling Manager to take ownership of our master scheduling and planning function-ensuring the right work flows through the shop at the right time, with the right resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Own and drive the master production schedule across departments Balance demand vs. capacity in a high-mix, fast-paced environment Lead production planning and purchasing teams to ensure alignment and execution Optimize schedules based on material, labor, and machine availability Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in throughput and on-time delivery Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Quality, and Sourcing Support quoting efforts with production timing and feasibility input Monitor key metrics: schedule attainment, backlog, and production efficiency REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years in production planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment 3+ years of leadership experience Strong background in ERP/MRP systems and data integrity Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing (job shop preferred) Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments Ability to read prints and understand manufacturing workflows Proven ability to solve problems, manage priorities, and lead teams WHAT PROTOTEK OFFERS: Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service WORK AUTHORIZATION WORDING Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements - Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
