Hill International is seeking a Sr Scheduler in San Antonio, Texas
- Regularly meet with the client to review program, project, and contract requirements.
- Review and validate the accuracy and feasibility of baseline schedules against contract requirements, as well as subsequent updates; develop schedule reports, including forecasts and look-ahead schedules, to support client decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive schedule review reports from P6 output data and contribute to monthly reporting for the client and the FTA, including all schedule-related deliverables.
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of contractor-submitted schedule updates and analyze them to ensure compliance with contractual specifications.
- Recommend strategies to improve schedule performance, including corrective actions, acceleration plans, lessons learned, and alternative approaches.
- Analyze schedule impacts arising from changes or claims, including performing time impact analyses, and manage associated contractual schedule updates.
- Provide subject matter expertise in CPM scheduling techniques and the use of Primavera P6.
- Review invoices against cost-loaded schedules and advise the client on their accuracy.
- Manage the integration and consolidation of contractor schedules into the overall project schedule.
- Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions in performing job responsibilities.
- Interpret schedule and cost reporting data and communicate findings with the Project Management team.
- Support the project team in evaluating and monitoring contractor progress schedules, including troubleshooting scheduling issues throughout construction.
- Develop "what-if" schedule scenarios to assist in project planning and decision-making.
- Provide quality assurance for schedule analyses related to ongoing claims, as needed.
- Perform additional cost, schedule, and analytical duties as assigned.
- Maintain and validate the integrity of the as-built schedule.
- Ability to work and take direction within a schedule team is required
- Ability to manage both project and program schedules is required
- Ability to assist in baseline schedule creation and review.
- Knowledge of Civil/MEP construction is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3-10 years' scheduling experience. Salary rates based on experience.
- BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building/Construction Management is preferred.
- Strong background using Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Project. The ability to utilize Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel, is required.
- Experience with reviewing construction schedules for the design-build phases of the projects.
- Knowledge of Different types of delivery methods.
- Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling knowledge/experience and the ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issues.
- Proficiency developing detailed resource and cost loaded design and construction schedules and preparing progress/status reports and performance of earned value analysis.
- Experience with time impact analysis.
- Construction claims and change order experience is preferred.
- Experience integrating the construction schedule into the master schedule.
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills for reporting and communication with the client.
- Position will be mainly remote with occasional site visits in San Antonio, TX.
