TRC is seeking a Senior Process or Chemical Engineer with our Greenville, SC team. This position will be part-time, as needed.

• Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
• Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
• Support process troubleshooting andfield construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
• Coordinate on designs with equipment vendors.
• Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.

• BS in Chemical Engineering, MS Preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina

• 5+ years of experience with Chemical Process Engineering Design (Process Flow and Pipe and Instrument Diagrams)
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Process Safety Management of High Hazard Processes with Emphasis on Process Hazard Analyses, Mechanical Integrity, RAGAGEP, Management of Change, and Process Documentation.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise
• Ability to lead, collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regions
• Passion for engineering and developing solutions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
