Job Title: Retail Store Clerk - Bookstore/Full-Time Location:Carrollton, TX Work hour: 11:00am - 7:30pm. (5 days per week, 40 hours total, including weekends and holidays) Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire A well-established bookstore is seeking a Full-Time Store Clerk who is passionate about Comics, Books, Anime, Manga or Stationery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and has a love for books, comics, manga, and graphic novels. Responsibilities: Ensure all store procedure is correctly handing based on company operation standards. Secure aconsistent, seamless, and positive customer experience.
Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately with established cash control procedures.
Provide support to fellow employees through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in customer interactions.
Resolve customer concerns with customer satisfaction in mind and escalate any issue to store manager.
Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
Open and close the store, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
Other duties assigned. Qualifications: Previous retail experience required, including handling merchandise and inventory Strong interest and passion forComics, Books, anime, manga or stationery.
