![]() SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS The Forest City Regional School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to be its next Superintendent of Schools no later than July 1, 2026. Candidates shall demonstrate superior communication skills, possess the ability to multi-task, be experienced in building projects, inspire trust, have high levels of self-confidence and optimism, and model high standards of integrity and personal performance. Candidates shall have experience dealing with employee representative groups/unions and be capable of developing both short- and long-range district goals. They must demonstrate the ability to develop and manage budgets and work cooperatively with the Board and keep the Board informed. Candidates should have an excellent organizational background and strong leadership in proactive decision making. The District has a student population of 800 and an instructional and support staff of approximately 126 employees. Forest City Regional School District has an annual budget of $19.0 million. The District is comprised of one Junior/Senior High School (Grades 7-12) and one Elementary School (Grades Pre-K through 6) located on one campus. Salary will be negotiable and competitive, based on training and experience.
